VACANCY-MENTAL HEALTH TRAINER
Reporting to: CEO
Responsible for: Training
Contract type: Permanent
Wiltshire Mind is a local mental health charity. Our charity is a busy, well-established service supporting people across the county of Wiltshire. We offer a number of services to people suffering from poor mental health including Peer Support Groups, 1-1 counselling (adults and young people), Polish Counselling, Mental Health Awareness Training and we also have a charity shop.
Wiltshire Mind is a self-funding charity and therefore needs to raise funds to continue our work. One way that we support the charity is through provision of training to the business sector. This enables us to support businesses and individuals at an early point. We provide bespoke training to business who want their staff to better understand the difficulties of living with a mental health condition and to be able to work with them effectively and appropriately.
We currently provide Mental Health Awareness Training, Stress/Anxiety and Mindfulness and sub contract work to provide Mental Health First Aid training. We are looking for a special individual who has the experience of providing training and working in a caring sector.
Due to the work we do, and the clients we work with, a training qualification of some kind is required for this role. We are open to different forms of training qualifications.
This role has no regular, fixed hours – there will be a need to work flexibly depending on the workload.
The role is subject to receiving satisfactory references and a probationary period.
This is an exciting time for the charity, with much change ahead, and we would like a conscientious and thoughtful training professional to join us. If you think that might be you, please apply using the details below. See link to Job Description.
