We’re wiltshire mind, For better mental health
To continue providing vital mental health support, we need to raise £465 per day. Please donate if you can.
Please note that we are closed from Thursday 18th December, re-opening 5th January 2026.
welcome to wiltshire mind
We are here to support the mental health and wellbeing needs of anyone in the Wiltshire community.
We provide one-to-one and group support to empower individuals to take control of their own mental health and wellbeing.
Wiltshire Mind is a local, independent charity and has been supporting people with their mental health needs for over 30 years.
We do not offer a crisis service.
If you or someone you know might imminently attempt suicide, or has already seriously harmed themselves, contact 999 or go to the nearest Accident & Emergency department. Mental health emergencies are serious, you are not wasting anyone’s time.
If you need urgent support for your mental health but it is not life-threatening, contact the NHS on 111 (option 2) who can tell you how best to get support in your area.
Our waiting List for Counselling Support
Due to exceptionally high demand, our waiting lists for both adult and young people’s counselling are currently very long. At this time, you may experience a wait of over six months before an appointment becomes available. As a charity, we rely entirely on funding and donations to provide our services, and our ability to offer counselling is limited by the resources available within our income budget. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to support everyone in need.
how can we help and support you?
