Last week, the girls from Gibbins House were able to present an impressive £650.00 to a local charity – Wiltshire Mind. The charity supports local people, and their families, who have mental health worries, and is part of the national charity Mind UK. Mrs Pat Williams (Trustee) came in to school to receive the cheque and was very impressed and grateful for all the girls’ efforts, as the charity receives no government funding and relies on donations to keep the it operational.
Since September, the girls have been working hard by making cakes, organising mufti days and, of course, hosting the “Harry Potter” café during our charity weekend. The girls could not believe they were able to raise so much money and were thrilled to present the cheque.
