Mind was established over fifty years ago and has developed into a nationwide organisation aimed to provide support and help to people suffering mental and emotional distress.
Mind National is based in London with many affiliated branches around the country.

Wiltshire Mind is working hard to provide a variety of services in the county. There are a number of social groups where people can drop in for a chat over a cup of tea, take part in creative activities or play various games e.g. card and board games, pool or darts.

There are always experienced group leaders present to provide support and help. As well as the social groups there are a number of small support groups providing a safe place for people to talk in complete confidence about their problems. Sharing one's fears and troubles within a group of similar sufferers can often be hugely beneficial, helping to develop confidence and strength towards a better quality of life. These small groups are always facilitated by experienced counsellors trained in counselling skills.

Wiltshire Mind also has a team of trained counsellors who can provide one to one counselling for those who need it. services aimed to bring support to those isolated or housebound.
